Sybase IQ officially only supports Red Hat Linux and SuSe Linux. However, it will run on CentOS just fine. There are a couple of things that need to be configured to make this happen.
After installing CentOS you need to install these additional rpm packages.
- libXext
- libXtst
You can find the latest download versions for these packages at http://rpmfind.net
Failing to install these packages before running setup.bin will result in these errors:
